Dolores Solis is the teaching assistant for the KEP class. She is from Jalisco, Mexico. She has lived in Elmhurst and has been a parishioner since December 1999. She took English classes for five years and is taking continuing education courses. She has two children; Jorge who is attending Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois (he speaks French, Spanish and English) and Ariana who attends York High School, and she speaks Spanish and English. Dolores has been a catechist at Mary Queen of Heaven Religious Education since 2008. She was hired in 2008 as the Spanish teacher and assistant teacher in the KEP class. She enjoys helping with the children in KEP and in Preschool. She also enjoys teaching Spanish to the children and the staff. She especially likes teaching the children because they learn very quickly. Dolores also enjoys baking cakes, cookies and cupcake. Her favorite part of baking is designing the flowers and the decorations.
